How Much Does Grailed Take From a Sale?
If you are selling designer clothing or streetwear, knowing your margins is critical. The most common question new users ask is: how much does Grailed take from a standard transaction?
As of the May 2026 update, Grailed fees are divided into two distinct commission tiers depending on your item's final price. Buying is completely free, but sellers are responsible for the following:
- Standard Tier ($120 and above): Grailed takes a 9% commission on the sale.
- Reduced Tier (Under $120): Grailed takes a 6% commission on the sale, subject to a $1.99 minimum.
Understanding the Total Grailed Seller Fee
It's important to know that the base Grailed seller fee is not the only deduction from your payout. Grailed's commission is separate from payment processing. Whether your buyer pays via PayPal or a credit card through Stripe, standard processing fees (typically around 2.9% + $0.30 in the US) will also apply to the total transaction.

Do Grailed Selling Fees Include Shipping?
Yes, but with a major exception. By default, Grailed selling fees are calculated based on the "Sale Price," which Grailed defines as the listing price plus any shipping costs charged to the buyer.
However, if you choose to ship using a Grailed Label, the shipping cost is completely exempted from the commission calculation.
